ai??i?? Winner and Loser Brackets: Double Elimination

ai??i?? The winner advances in the winner bracket and will win the tournament if he or she wins the grand finals once.

ai??i?? The winner from the loser bracket has to win the grand finals once in order to win the tournament.

ai??i?? Unlike the system we have thus far, the winner from the loser bracket no longer needs to win the grand finals twice to win the tournament.

3.1.2. 3v3 rules

ai??i?? No duplicated classes allowed

ai??i?? No substitute

ai??i?? Team must consist of 3 members and one needs to be designated as team captain

ai??i?? (new) Changing classes in 3v3 is allowed as long as its your own account and doesn’t break other rules

Ai??

3.2. No-show

Please note that it is the participantsai??i?? responsibility to attempt to contact his or her opponent first. Only after failing to contact the opponent may the participant contact the staff to start a missing timer. There are two different missing timers and they will only start after the participant has contacted either a player support or a referee via private message.

3.2.1. Each player only has a limited time to show up to a match. Contact a Legion Esports staff to start the missing timer when a player fails to reach his or her opponent on time.

ai??i?? Missing timer:

ai??i?? Very first round of the tournament 10 Minutes

ai??i?? All of the remaining rounds 5 Minutes

3.2.2. After the missing timer is up, a no-show leads to that missing playerai??i??s default loss of the match.

3.2.3. A no-show will result in a warning and later on will be punished in continued absence, if the player in question does not provide the Legion Esports staff with a reasonable explanation.

Ai??

3.3. Third Party Programs

3.3.1. Any form of cheating will be severely punished with permanent ban. The Legion Esports staff will do an immediate investigation if the player is using any third party program and will deny or confirm this swiftly. The Legion Esports staff can hold the prizes for a couple of days to inform NCSOFT, if the accused player makes it into the prize pool or giveaway.

3.3.2.Ai??Ping boosters are allowed.

Ai??

3.4. Deceiving

3.4.1. Any attempts to deceive the Legion Esports staff or other participants with wrong or fake information will be punished by a loss, disqualification or ban.

3.4.2.Ai??Win-trading is results in immediate ban.

Ai??

3.5. No Ringers or Fakers

3.5.1. We do not allow other players to play on your account. Doing so will result in ban of both parties.

3.5.2. The only exception is when the player can provide the Legion Esports staff with proof from NCSOFT that the player has the permission to play on an account of another player.

Ai??

3.6. Disconnection and Remake

3.6.1. If a player disconnects from the match, he or she has the right to make a rematch without the his or her opponentai??i??s consent, but only when the player returns within ten minutes. However, there will be a handicap where the disconnected person has to win one extra game. The score of the match thus far remains the same even in the rematch.

ai??i?? Disconnection timer 10 Minutes

ai??i?? This timer starts as soon as the staff knows of the disconnection. Once the disconnection timer is up, the disconnected player automatically loses that round by default.

ai??i?? Ai??The disconnection timer can only be introduced once per round. As soon as a participant disconnects for a second time in the round, he or she automatically loses that round.

3.6.2. For example, player A won the first match, but player B disconnects during the second match. The score would still be in favour of player A (1 -0). In addition, the disconnected player will have a handicap and has to win one extra game. If we take the previous example, player B has to get 1 -3 to win his game. However, if the score is 2-2, player A wins the match.

3.6.3. In case of players disconnection before match started and that is before engaging in combat in arena stage there’s no handicap.

3.6.4. Conversion of a Missing to a Disconnection Timer 5 In cases where a player (A) fails to contact another player (B) before the match, it is logical for player A to contact the staff and start a missing timer for player B. However, if player B is disconnected but manages to inform the staff of the disconnection within the missing timerai??i??s time limit, it is possible for player B to choose to convert the missing timer to a disconnection timer.

Please note that the rule of only one disconnection per round still applies.

3.6.5. For example: In the third round of the tournament, player A cannot contact player B and informs the staff to start a missing timer for player B. Hence, a five -minutes timer begins. When two of the five minutes have passed, player B contacts the staff and explain that he disconnected and wishes to convert his missing timer to a disconnection timer. Player B now has ten-minutes timer, where two of the ten minutes have passed.

3.6.6. Bug Encounter: It is up to the referees to decide whether the case should be counted as a bug or not.

ai??i?? When the participant encounters a bug, he or she has the right to contact the referees about it. Two cases follow:

ai??i?? The participant has proof of the bug:
The participant has to show the proof to a referee as soon as possible. In this case, the participant will receive a rematch (without a handicap).

ai??i?? The participant has no proof of the bug:
Agreement of the opponent needed for a rematch. If the opponent disagrees, the participant will not receive a rematch and loses that round.

Ai??

3.7. Timers

There are two different timers: The missing timer (five or ten minutes; see section 3.2) or the disconnection timer (ten minutes; see section 3.6).

Ai??

3.8. No Bug Abuse

All kinds of bug abuse will be punished. The Legion Esports staff has the right to determine whenever the act has been committed or not. Depending on the severity of the violation, the violator may receive punishments such as Disqualification or Ban.

3.8.1. It is strictly forbidden to use re -gliding, which means to go out of combat and to avoid getting in combat for cooldown.

3.8.2. Pushing the other player to a wall or crowd control stacking are not considered as bug abuse. For example, stunning the opponent and then dazing him/ her, hence preventing the opponent from using a back roll.

Ai??

3.9. Forfeiting

3.9.1. The players are allowed to forfeit during any time of the tournament by contacting the Legion Esports staff directly. However, the players are not allowed to re-join after forfeiting.

3.9.2. When a player forfeits, he or she automatically drops out of the tournament entirely and gives up all rights to claim any prizes of that tournament.

3.9.3. When such a case occurs, all ranks of the participants will automatically rise for one rank. The remaining prize for the 6th place will be used for a giveaway. For example, if the player in question forfeits after securing the third place, the player on rank 4 will rise to rank 3, the player on rank 5 will rise to rank 4, and the player on rank 6 will rise to rank 5. The 6th rank will remain vacant.
